You pay a flat visit fee for the logistics: $59 for
next-day return or $89 for same-day. That covers pickup
with photos, live tracking, transport to a vetted shop, booking the shop
and every conversation with it, the quote review, and the return trip.
Every decision is yours. Whatever the shop does, whether routine
maintenance, a repair, or the Virginia state inspection, is quoted to
you first and billed separately at exactly what the shop charges. We add no markup and take no commission. One
visit fee covers everything done that day.

translate the diagnosis into plain language, check each line against
what your car actually needs, and send you an itemized list on your
phone. You approve or decline each item individually. Nothing is touched
until you approve it, and we take no commission from any shop, so our
advice has no reason to lean toward more work.
A background-checked, licensed Brake Spoon driver. Every trip runs under our
commercial garage-keepers and non-owned auto policy. You get a live tracking
link and timestamped photos of the car at pickup and at return.
Describe the symptom the way you'd tell a friend: a squeak when you brake,
a shake above 60, a check engine light. The shop diagnoses it, and you get
the diagnosis in plain language with a quote before anyone fixes anything.
If the shop charges a diagnostic fee, we tell you the amount up front.
Yes. We take the car to a licensed Virginia inspection station and pass
the $20 state fee through at cost. If it fails, you get each item cited
against the specific Virginia standard it failed, separate from anything
the shop merely recommends. The rejection sticker is valid for 15 days
and a reinspection at the same station costs at most $1; if you approve
the repairs, the station fixes and reinspects the car in the same visit. Emissions testing applies only in ten Northern
Virginia localities, where we're not live yet.
