Terms of service

The agreement between you and Brake Spoon, Inc. covering visit fees, vehicle custody, repair authorization, and cancellation.

Visit fees and billing

The per-visit fee ($59 next-day return, $89 same-day return), when it is charged, what it covers, and when a same-day booking is billed at the next-day rate.

Vehicle custody

The window during which Brake Spoon holds your vehicle, condition documentation at pickup and return, and the limits of our responsibility while it is in our care and in the care of a third-party shop.

Repair authorization and pass-through billing

No repair is authorized without your express approval of the specific line item. How approvals are captured, how shop charges are passed through at cost, and what happens if a vehicle cannot legally be returned to the road.

Third-party shops

Brake Spoon coordinates with independent shops and licensed inspection stations. Which warranties are the shop’s, which obligations are ours, and how a dispute over shop work is handled.

Rescheduling, cancellation, and refunds

Free rescheduling and cancellation more than 24 hours before the pickup window; inside 24 hours a $5.20 reschedule fee charged to the card on file and a $10 cancellation fee retained from the refund; changes within 2 hours handled by text or email; consent to store the card for these charges; refund timing.
